Ocean City Convention Center - Rotunda

We collaborated with Abbi Custis and Daniele Haley Architecture for this one. Our idea was to create a dynamic piece of art for this very unique room. After testing some different acrylics, we landed on a light blue translucent acrylic panel and had a designer create the "wave" form based on the spacing, size of wall, etc. Each cut of acrylic is unique and when put together they create the moving wave as you move through the room. Since the light hits the upper windows of the room differently throughout the year, the light is reflected and bent off the acrylic and it creates an ever-changing design on the walls.
