Every Plak That print is handmade in our small shop in Ocean City, MD. We started out in 2012 trying to figure out how to print images onto wood, and have since grown to 3 employees and some family helping out!
Our wood prints are made from the highest grade white pine that you can find. Each piece is hand selected and is certified to be sustainably sourced from FSC Certified origins.
Protection of our natural habitat and sustainable practices are paramount to us here at Plak That. Our shop uses smart thermostats, outlets, LED lighting, auto shutoff features to conserve electricity. The electricity that we do use is purchased from 100% renewable sources.
Now that you know a little bit about us, its time to start designing your wood prints! Our sizes start out at 5″ x 7″ and go up to 18.5″ x 27.5″, which should suit about anyone and makes a great center pieces over a couch, table, or desk. For our larger wood prints, each piece is made up of several planks to create a one-of-a-kind look that cannot be duplicated! We use the natural color of the wood as our “white”, so any images with a lot of contrast and lighter areas are going to show a lot of woodgrain.
